Is this report genuine?
Every finalised report carries a code under the QR on its last page. Enter it to see who issued the report, when it was finalised, and whether it is still the current version.
What you will see
- The firm that issued it, the job reference and the signing valuer with their registration number
- The date it was finalised, and whether a later version has replaced it
- With the report in hand, a check that the market value printed on it matches the firm's record
For privacy, the property owner, the lender and the valuation figures are never shown. The page only says whether a figure you type matches.
